CEOs versus Celebrity in Pay

During this election cycle, democrats have railed against the big pay for CEOs.
What they don't tell you is that their friends in Hollywood, aka celebrities make just as much money as top CEOs.

According to Forbes, 100 top paid CEOs make $3.4 Billion.
100 Top Celebs make $3.2 Billion.

They are about on par.

Now, imagine, most of the time these celebs read scripts or sing. Most of the time, they don't produce any necessity for the vast majority of people. I don't categorize American Idol's or Who Wants to Be a Millionaire as a necessity.
