CO2 level and Progressives' Plans

This is my response to C|NET's Article titled "Can renewable energy make a dent in fossil fuels?"

1. CO2 level rises as the earth heats, not other way around. CO2 doesn't raise the temperature of the earth. Also CO2 is very small portion of all the green houses gas. Human's CO2 emission is very very small compare to none human CO2 emission.

2. There is no 50 yr oil left in earth. Progressives have been saying this for years. But, every month, there is a new report on new oil/gas finds. Just yesterday (04/24/2008), there was a report from Brazil how they found huge reserves of oil that will set the country from the oil importation.

3. All the plan from the Progressives created have been very damaging and disastrous consequences for the world, { food shortage, increase demand on fuel, forest destruction due to increase biofuel farming, undeveloped Africans who go bad hungry due to lack of electricity, people dying from mosquito born illness due to none DDT usage, etc.. } I can go on and on about how Progressives have created problems for this world. I can't think of a single solution that Progressives have provided human progresses. They were heavy opponent of Genetically modified crops. Now, due to the biofuel, the world is force to plant GM crops aggressively to meet the demand for the biofuel, irony.

Progressives dream up things for people to implement. When their dreams fail and bring disastrous consequences, they suffer no consequences. In fact, they are lauded how great and compassionate they are for the people. They are never to be responsible for their laws and policies they propose and implement. In fact when their ideas fail, they are given even higher position to implement even more disastrous policies. I think the tide is against them.

Re: Vista Capable Lawsuit

This type of lawsuits creates unnecessary cost that doesn't go into productive usage. Everybody knew that low-end processor with low end graphic card had hard time running Vista's new UI. It wasn't a secrete.

Trial lawyers benefit by squeezing property (money) away from a company, Microsoft.
Media benefits from the story for having a story to run and comment on.
Consumers do not benefit because they will probably get nothing or at best some useless coupons and rebate that they can't really use.

Lawsuits like this squeeze extra productivity out of companies, organized labor pools and entities that are form to gain greater efficiencies and scale of economies. Companies and Corporations are nothing more than a people setting up shops together. Those who hate corporations have skew understanding of what corporation is and how it works, rather superstitious and unscientific information that has been fed by the populism aka know-nothings. Fascists didn't like corporations either.

Open != Innovation

My Response to C|NET Article "When taxes aren't the problem."

What evidence do you have of "Open Network" and "Unlocking" had or will lead to innovation. Does Google open their search engine algorithm for everybody else to use? Does C|NET open up their business practices so others can copy it? Does C|NET open up its website so that other publishers can publish their article on C|NET website? Idea that "Open" is a key to innovation has almost no basis what so ever. Open is a key word people like to throw here and there for an effect without any substantive meanings. Asian mobiles have closed networks and locked cells phones, too. So, if you cite Asian phone companies as innovative then locking cell phones can't be the problem.

Taxation is not just a cost to the consumer or the industry as a dollar figure. It is a device for unprofessional and no-expert government regulators and politicians to regulate industries which they have no business of regulating or have say to how, which, where, when, and what industries can do. What gives these politicians license to tell these industries how to operate any of their businesses? Would you hire a plumber to fix your car? Would C|NET hire plumber to work on the websites?

What CTIA and trade group like this are saying is that limit the regulation, pure and simple. Regulation limits the innovation and growth.

If the regulation is so good then government should tax and regulate the all the internet commerce. Thus, real innovations that you dream up or hope up can happen.

Re: Sina.com's anti-CNN imagery is violent

My Response to "Sina.com's anti-CNN imagery is violent" on C|NET Article

Communists/Socialists do not tolerant criticisms. In fact, they are intolerant and closed minded bunch. They like to demonstrate while chanting silly phrases with drums and tambourine. They are cowards. Whether they are in China, Europe, or America. They demonstrate against people who won't do anything to them but they will not demonstrate against true evils of the world. You will rarely see them demonstrating against China, Sudan, Haiti, Cuba, Venezuela, or Zambawe. When they do demonstrate, they do in a safety of modern capitalized western society that they hate so much where there are no consequences of their demonstrations. You don't see these brave Mercedes Marxists demonstrating in China for the country human rights issues? You don't see these brave Mercedes Marxist HRC demonstrating in Egypt for equal rights. What these groups do is have running, cycling, or walking to bring awareness. But that's it. That's all they do. They rarely do more then bring awareness to the topic. Most of the time, their actions are very superficial but can be dramatic.

If you can recall, when Saddam was in Iraq, CNN didn't do negative reporting in order for them to stay in Iraq. What it says is that CNN cow tows to dictators around the world in order for them to profit/benefit instead of reporting news. Now, this Jack Cafferty guy who said "goons and thugs" says that he was talking about the government, not the people. Aren't the CNN equates people with government. For CNN, are there difference between people and the government. In fact, it is called "People's Republic of China." Thus, it's "People's Republic." CNN should do more research before it says anything. Obviously, it doesn't.

Re: Why e-book readers don't stand a chance

Latest C|NET Article titled "Why e-book readers don't stand a chance"
The author is completely off.

1. Kindle eBook cost significantly less. by 1/2 to 1/3.
2. Kindle has very different delivery method that allows for it to succeed where others have failed and came short. Easeness of which the eBooks are deliver to Kindle device is the secrete sauce.
3. It's much more preferable to own single device that can carry tens of books then carrying tens of books.
4. eBook with Kindle format just started. Kindle combines the 3G delivery with Amazon's economy of scale. This has never done before. Kindle just came out...
5. The author has absolutely no data to back up his opinions.

I am starting a new website..

The website will feature localized stories that's backed by aggregated data analysis.

Most local news pools are very similar. One could turn from a local ABC station to CW station news coverage and get similar types of story, sometimes by verbatim. I was recently dumb founded by the way the local news reporter becomes a pawn of a local city council person for her own political TV coverage, aka TV Whore.

Most of the leg work will be done by me at first but I would like to expand and attract different writers. All the writing must be backed by the extensive data. Data must able to hold the test of the time. And stories will be followed, meaning it will have a life span until the story has final. Of course, story of Social Security will always exist.

Most of the story will be backed by the economic principles and analyze its possible side effects, which are almost always ommited by the current news coverage whether it is national or local. However, I believe that local coverage is more important than the national coverage because this is where people can actually related.

I hope to educate people on How-Things-Work. America is lacking decent economics education. All the candidates of 2008 presidential candidates are economics illiterates. This is very shocking. Two of them are out-right Mercedes Marxists and one is a rino socialist. The country will be in a wrong hand either case.

I hope to have a very good coverage of Houston during year 2008 and 2009. Hopefully by 2010, I would like to reach other cities like Dallas, San Francisco, Chicago, and Washington DC. I am keeping up with the recent education reform in Washington DC.

Localized Aggregated Newscast.

I am putting about 40 hours of personal time into this project.
I will first build very raw newscast website and go from there.
