The automobile world order as of 2010

Toyota has great technical assets and manufacturing capacities even if they are slightly down for the moment. Toyota may not able to keep up with #1 ranking. However, I don't think this is a big deal.

VW has myriads of super technical assets. However, they are weak on sub $20,000 cars. I think, this fact will hurt them. VW can't buy their ways into better position forever.

Hyundai/Kia is a fast growing company. They have the basic fundamental technical assets, including 8 speed transmission, 5L V8 Engines, DI, Hybrids, Diesel, and other techs. Hyundai/Kia lacks super cars. But, super cars aren't necessary, although they are indicative of entity's technical boundaries.

Renault/Nissan is a good synergy company. Renault taking on the UI works and Nissan focusing on core technical assets. The Nissan GT-R is a technical marble. And their designs are very good. Their latest is the Nissan Juke with their 1.6L DIG Turbo.

Ford is the best US automaker by a big margin. It has good technical assets, still. Ford has great truck, passenger, and sports car line ups. Their vehicles are better than the GM and Chrysler counter parts.

GM is a big money loser, and it will be like this for a long time. GM is really bad at execution. GM has wealth of technical assets but it seems that GM can't pull them together correctly.

Fiat/Chrysler is a matter of time before Chrysler needs another host it can feed off of.

Honda will be a marginal car company, and that's how Honda likes it. It doesn't have the 6-speed transmission, V8 engine, Rear wheel drive platforms, or Direct Injection. Its hybrid vehicles are inferior to its competitors offerings. Acura brand doesn't perform well in US. Their SH-AWD isn't all that either. Their Prelude is gone. S2000 is gone. The NSX is marginal. Honda's truck is from Isuzu. Isuzu is a gonner, too. That's why the Honda's Ridgeline doesn't have the truck chassis. Isuzu is in a worse position than the 0-0-0- Mitsubishi.

Another step into a direction for individual liberty by this White House.

How cute... The name of their new edict is titled, "Paycheck Fairness Act." This is how they are going to collect employee data, sex, race, and national origin. If the sex, race, and culture do not matter, everything being all equal, why collect them. Obviously, they think one is greater than the other. So, they are going to promote one sex over another, one race over another, one age group over another. This is what racism is... Anything that's labeled as "fairness" is based on racism, preselected determined outcome by few at the top at the center. Thus, variable X should follow the path that's right for the variable X. So, if you are a black, you should follow the path for the blacks. If you are an Asian, you should follow the path that's right for the Asians. Companies should have be x number of Asians, y number of blacks, and so on. I can't wait until they preselect kids to become gymnasts and other type of athletes. We are going to have more golds. So, the government can pay off its debts. After they win, the White House can have more parties along with its celebutard friends. Annual White House correspondents dinner would be bit more bling-ed. Maybe, they will give away free iPods with the President's speech in them. I hope they liked them as much as the Queen of UK liked them. Would they be worth more if those were actioned off on eBay?

These people are playing their version the Sim City and the Sims with our lives. They want to control every part of our lives as possible. They already tell us how we should flush our toilets, what kind of light bulbs we should use, and type of papers we should use to wipe asses. The level of control freakness is just crazy. These people can't leave others alone. Isn't this a psychological problem, wanting to control others? This is really insidious. While conservatives out law certain acts but.. these bans do not cost people their time/life. Also, often, there are no previous acts in which the cost can be measured. Meaning, prohibitions rarely have cost associated with them because these prohibitions were not sanctioned before either explicitly or implicitly. Goodness of these bans isn't important as much as whether these bans cost people time/life. In Contrast, when these people pass laws, they do cost people's time/life. A real difference.... The difference here is that these laws make people permanent indenture servants of the state. This is because, people are constantly giving away their money, which is personal time bartered against the services provided by each person(s). Reduction of personal time/life/money/property reduces person's ability to take risks on their own, thus happiness. Happiness is a risk-based value, and these laws diminishes the pursuit of happiness part of this culture. These laws almost never end. Often, more laws are added to them.. to cover up the previous laws that are obviously flawed.. and they pat themselves on the back how great job they have done with the new laws, and give themselves raises.

How would business go around laws like this? By out-sourcing.... These people don't ask unintended consequences...

When companies out-source.. these knuckle heads in congress are going to pass something akin to "out-source fairness act..." then.. companies will just fold the whole thing together and move out, making their products imports. This is how this White House wants to create jobs... This is their laser like focus on Jobs. Their fulgurated lasers are killing jobs.

Do they not have people who aren't communists or socialists? And they say they aren't socialists or communists... How else would you characterize this type of laws? This law certain isn't capitalist-based laws. Such heavy handed regulation kills jobs, innovations, and everything else that are associated with it while improving nothing.

The Apple Inc burning up 500 million gallons of gasoline.

The Apple Inc is going to burn at least 500 million gallons of gasoline with this recall - Environmental Damage created by The Apple Inc.

The Apple Inc.. Ahh... Yes. The proverbial icon of liberalism. If I had to point out a single entity that represents many of the attributes that define liberalism, the point has to go to the Apple Inc. Why, you ask?

The Apple Inc. products are sold with the emotional zeal that has not seen before if you count out female products like the Summer Eve or the EPT. The Apple uses emotions to sell every products. The company has set itself as a zenith-er of all things are good and kind. One of these is the environment. You have seen their commercials. How they trout their products as energy efficient products. How, their products' battery lasts forever. Even on heavy porn video viewings, The Apple products can go on for tens of releases. They might have to be plugged while being seated. 'Oh, Extra Joy!' I hear... However, this is all about to change without many consumers not noticing... But, I am here to point this out very early... before anyone else does... Porque? Because.. "Yes I Can!"

The recent trouble the Apple had with the iPhone's reception issues would likely require recalls. According to the report, the Apple was told about the reception issue from the early inception of its design phase by its own antenna expert. [1] The Apple wanted to make the phone thin. So, they designed the antenna to wrap around the phone's outer edges. However, the Apple, Steve Job, the Smartest CEO named by the Fortune magazine ignored it. [2] Now, the Apple has to recall these phones. This means that the consumers have to drive back to the stores or ship out their phones. The phone has to be taken a part and be fixed. There aren't enough new Apple phones to go around even without this problem. The Apple might have bigger supply problems than before. The Apple may have very limited new iPhone inventory for sales. The man hour require to repair these phones, ship these phones, ship back these phones, and other related works require lots of energy. Some are estimating the cost to be around $1.5 billion US. [3]. This is like burning up 500 million gallons of gasoline at a cost of $3 per gallon. This is a real environmental damage that this Apple Jerky company is doing.

Ah... Yes,,.. it's all white... The Apple... where most things are white and whiter, and where few thing are rarely darker than white. No, I am not accusing The Apple dislikes non-white colors. I am suggesting that the Apple has a strong fetish for the color white. It's like a person only has white friends. The person has no dislikes of non-white friends. The person just has a strong fetish for friends who are white. Bam! Yes, It's a Magic....

Springfield ISD

Another data to show schools are largely wasteful and hand ringers don't care about the education.

Chicago is going to have 4-Day school weeks in order to save money. It's not they don't have the money, rather, they wasted money on other unnecessary stuff, mostly in the form of administrative cost.

http://cbs2chicago.com/local/four.day.school.2.1583104.html

Having 4 day school week reduces the total school days by 144 days or 28 weeks in 4 years. The figure equals to 2/3 of full school year. This figure implies that almost 16.5% of the school time is unnecessary based on this figure. It also implies that those who has gone to school before them, 16.5% of their life time has been unnecessary.

The Springfield ISD's expenditure is at $189,339,719. ([1] page 2) @ 15,123 students @ page "[2] iv". This comes down to $12,519.85 per student.

63.4% of student either meet or exceed the reading tests.
69.4% students either meet or exceed the math test.
(3.page 26)

This is how the Springfield ISD of Illinois spends money.

Biases within the News Stories

At its core, Obama's proposal would extend health care to tens of millions of uninsured Americans while cracking down on insurance company practices such as denying coverage on the basis of a pre-existing medical condition. [Source]

Above sentence appears in the recent AP article written by Alan Fram. It should also say, Obama’s proposal would force government run health care to all its citizens regardless of one’s preferences. His plan would add costs to all individuals without due process, 14th amendment. Parts of their life is taken away in order for someone else to force someone else to pay for something as a constitutional right that isn't covered in the constitution.

Also, the sentence uses the word “cracking down” as to setup insurance companies as denying coverage on the pre-existing medical condition should be stopped. If the health is important for an individual, one should get the health insurance to hedge against the bad health for one’s future. That is what the “insurance” is. However, if one doesn’t, an individual shouldn’t be allowed to buy something after the fact. This is a typical juvenile ploy, eliminating responsibility. This is like a football game where the Team A won over Team B by having 3 run touchdown scores then Team B saying that the run touchdowns do not count as scores.

There can’t be a system where someone is allowed to have something after one has selected to do otherwise without counting the cost associated with the choice. Just mere going back costs time. The problem is that the variable time isn’t recoverable; one can’t just go back to the past and change things. This isn't the Sims 1, 2, or 3, or the SimCity computer games where these gods can play around with some unknown fictional characters and objects. The very idea the One, the Obama wants to force others to pay for the time cost and to set up a system to ignore this very intrinsic fact of life is crazy in a psychic term.

But the real problem is how all these reporters distort the truth while printing their agendas. Most people who read their stuffs do not have ability to read between the lines. We don’t have free press. We have a left-leaning socialist press, who eats together, travels together, sleeps together, write together, and read together – one giant single-minded groupie confab.

All the writers, teleprompter readers out there, and their fellow illusionists, stop it. It’s embarrassing to show your lack of discernments, and your constant fanning the obvious agendas driven pamphlets is destructive.

GMAC's Pay

Obama Administration's GEO at GMAC gets $1.2 Million for 6 weeks works but no phony outrages by the butt boys in the media and the President. It really is none of Obama's business whether some CEO makes $1 versus $100 million a year. But, Obama and his ilks always belly ache about executives' pay. However, when it comes to their own executives pay, they say nothing.

GMAC’s Michael Carpenter Got $1.2 Million for 45 Days’ Work - NYTimes.com

Michael Carpenter’s pay for a month and a half of work was equivalent to full-year pay of $9.5 million, according to a regulatory filing.

Self Determination

The idea of self-determination has been around for a long time, and it is the basis for USA and why USA even exists. Like everything else, there are faults to USA but in large part, USA is very very good, and no other countries can hold candle to USA.

These laws and more laws on top of already heavily padded laws prevent self determination. These laws are beget from more government. Everyday, more the US congress acts, more laws they create, more self determination they take away from individuals, smaller the individuals get. there is a inverse relations regarding the laws and individual free to chose, act, or do whatever. That's why there are only 10 commandments. Our Congress is more brilliant, more wise, and more clever than God, so, they creates hundreds of laws every single day. The bigger the government, more things that these "law makers" have to do where more laws are made. Most of their "helping the little guy" laws are destructive and counter-productive to our daily lives. Why do we make them little gods? We already have God, and there is the liberal idea of separation of Church and State. Why do we let these little gods telling us what to do with their arbitrary moral value codes.

We need less of government in all of our life. If I was an emperor, I would undo almost everything that they created, FDIC, FHA, Fannie/Freddy, USPS, Amtrek, Department of Education, EPA, NEA, Product safety commission, NPR/PBS, community channels, FCC, Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare, and many others.

All of these things stifles innovation because everybody is boxed in, there are no rooms to innovate and to stretch.

This is why big-government is dangerous. Because these government theocrats push their arbitrary values that has no fundamental basis onto rest of us. Their values are "whatever!" values, thus they really have no values because in order for something to have value, they have to have fixed standard, which they don't have. Everything are always moving & living and breathing. All of the aforementioned government agencies are the products of their arbitrary theologies that are hurting this country and the world - the world depends on USA.

The patent itself is something I do not dislike but the idea of who is granting the patent is absurd. The patent should be granted by the market. The market should dictate what is patentable, not some unanswerable bureaucrats.

The peer-review causes things to bubble up and bubble down. The market place picks the winners and losers. We need to let the free market play out instead of socially engineered bureaucrats engineering our lives.

03/03/2010 Topics

Justices may extend gun owner rights nationwide

Every citizen in USA has a constitutional rights to carry guns. It’s in the USA’s framework and no other states can circumvent this right. It’s in the 2nd amendment. This right was so important, that the framer put this at the top of the list of all rights.

Illinois law banning gun is unconstitutional and it should be struck down. Where there are restrictive hand gun carrying ordinances, more crimes there tend to be, in this case DC and Chicago.

The Flu Season That Fizzled

Much of the hell bulla regarding swine flu or whatever was just all hysteria. After all the fear mongering by the hysterics of this country, 2009 flu season was least severe during last 10 years.

Microsoft CEO: Google merits regulatory scrutiny

After Microsoft’s many attempts to grab a hold of internet market share, it is now complaining and using the power of government to compete and use government as a proxy to fight its competitor. Its attempt with MSN, MSNBC, Hotmail, and rest of its properties, Microsoft has failed to make a decent dent within the Internet Search market space. Microsoft is using the regulations of know-nothings to compete with Google.

Restaurants now adding “health” charges to their bills.

Another stupid liberal ideas costing everybody as an add cost. Again, liberalism is stupid. I would tip less.

Obama’s $7 per gallon dream

How would the world and the America reduce the fantasy green house gases and reduce carbon foot print that everyone exhales. According to Harvards’ Belfer Center for Science and Internal Affiars, drivers would have to pay $7 per gallon. This is the hope and change on nothing. Another stupid idea. During last 16 years or 160 years for that matter, the CO2 level hasn’t changed at all. I detailed this before.

Lawmakers cry 'jobs' to push through bills

Why are they doing this? Wasn’t he $800 billion enough for them to waste. Again, government doesn’t create jobs, period. They can’t. Because work isn’t done by because one thinks the work has to be done. But, the work has to be there and there has to be someone who desires some work to be done. One can’t just Hope for work to exist. There is no Hope & Change.

Senate approves extension of jobless benefits after Bunning ends blockade

Senate has just allowed the further dependence on a government and furthering the high unemployment. There is a direct relation between the unemployment benefits and the static nature of unemployment number. It seems that the unemployment benefits locks in unemployed from getting the employment.

Economists: Another Financial Crisis on the Way

This report is saying that big bonuses and big dividends are the reasons why banks go down? Really?

JPM, JP Morgan Chase & Co. as of 12/2009

Market Cap: $165.46 billion with 3.94 billion shares

Dividend 0.20 and Yield 0.50%

Profit Margin: 17.14%

Dividends are cost of borrowing money from the share holders. If the dividends are low, their stock price would low where bank can capitalize on its value.

President Obama to Say Democrats Will Use Reconciliation to Pass Senate Health Care Reform Fix, If Not Given Up or Down Vote

Something as big as a government taking over 1/6 of US economy… something as big as changing the order of our lives shouldn’t be passed with just 51 votes. Such has not been done before. Even on Obama’s own word, it shouldn’t be done. However, because things are inconvenient and because they are the whatever-ers, they will do it.
